Come and join us for the First + Junior round of the 2026 NZDH series in the central location of Rotorua!\nGet ready to experience one of New Zealand’s most iconic downhill locations—Skyline Rotorua! Nestled in the heart of the stunning Rotorua region\, Skyline Rotorua offers world-class downhill tracks set in lush forest and rugged terrain. The renowned gondola ride up the mountain gives you access to some of the most challenging and exciting tracks in the country\, with breathtaking views of Lake Rotorua and the surrounding area. This is the perfect venue to kick off the 2026 NZDH series\, promising riders and spectators an adrenaline-packed weekend. \nSign On NZDH: 16th October at Cyclezone Rotorua 3pm – 6pm. There will be no sign on Saturday\, so riders must pick up Friday evening or organise collection. \nSign On NZDH Junior: 17th October at Skyline Rotorua 2pm – 5pm. There will be no sign on Sunday\, so riders must pick up Saturday or organise collection. \nSkyline Mountain Bike Park will be open Friday 17th of October\, however the track being used for the race will be CLOSED. Riders can utilise other trails and ride at their own cost. There will be NO practice on Saturday for NZDH Junior racers. \nEvent Schedule 17th October: \n\n\n07:30 – Event opens \n\n\n08:45 – Rider briefing (Important! DESCRIPTION:A loosener after the winter hiatus\, the Summer Series opener is a great opportunity to bed in those new pads\, debut that new whip and find out where you’re at\, and what might need some improvement. \nRace base and sign-in will be at the end of Bowenvale Ave. \nPlease note that parents/guardians of riders under the age of 14 are expected to remain present for the duration of racing. We reserve the right to withdraw children under this age from the race if a parent/guardian is not present. \nThe Location \n\n\nThe race base is the grass area at the end of Bowenvale Ave. \n\n\nThere is no water supply on site – please ensure riders bring adequate supplies for the day \n\n\nThere is absolutely no parking in this area – you will need to park in the car park at the end of Bowenvale Ave. or on the street heading back towards Centaurus Road. Please note that this is a residential street\, so please respect the residents that live there and park and behave respectfully (we have had complaints\, particularly about bad language\, in the past) \n\n\nThe finish line is up Bowenvale Valley\, which can be accessed from the race base via the Bowenvale Valley Track \n\n\nThe start line is at the top of Victoria Park\, just to the East of the Summit Road car park up the hill from the Sign of the Kiwi \n\n\nShuttles will carry riders from the race base to the start line. \n\n\nThere is no capacity for spectators in the shuttles. DESCRIPTION:It’s back! The Mammoth Enduro returns for 2026 and the team are ready to deliver a Mammoth weekend of racing on Nelson’s finest trails. Get ready for an unforgettable day on the trails with big terrain\, technical descents\, and a selection of Nelson’s most iconic tracks\, all close to the heart of the city. This year’s course will feature at least 5 timed stages\, some shuttle support\, at least lots of climbing\, and a full weekend of fun—whether you’re chasing the podium or just in it for the ride. \nWe’re expecting a sell out field featuring some of New Zealand’s top Enduro riders. Be in quick with your entries to secure your spot. \nThis is a hard Grade 5 & 6 Enduro and is is only suitable for people who have experience & skills to race comfortably at this level. Full face helmets please. If you have other protective wear then please wear it. \nThe Mammoth Enduro will also be the opening race in the 2026/27 NZ Enduro Series. We’re excited to be part of this growing series taking riders all over NZ to race on some of the best trails in the country.
