DESCRIPTION:We’re bringing Enduro back to Ōtautahi for one unforgettable weekend! \nWhether you’re gunning for the top step of the podium\, tackling your first Enduro race\, or just keen for a day out on the trails with your mates\, there’ll be two days of riding\, racing and guaranteed good times. \nCHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE \nWe’re all about giving you options\, meaning everyone gets a day on the hill they won’t forget (for the right reasons). \nSeven Stage / Long Course \nFor the seasoned pros\, or those who think they’re game to take on the biggest challenge\, we’ve got a seven-stage course that’ll test your limits with over 1000 metres of climbing and a variety of technical trails. The course will challenge your speed\, skills and fitness from start to finish. \nCategories: \nU15 Men (Minimum age of 13 by 31st Dec 2026)\nU15 Women (Minimum age of 13 by 31st Dec 2026) \nU19 Men\nU19 Women \nOpen Men (19-39 Years)\nOpen Women (19-39 Years) \nMasters Men (40+ Years)\nMasters Women (40+ Years) \nEBike Open Men (13+ Years)\nEBike Open Women (13+ Years)\n*E-Bike racers will be able to tackle the seven-stage race\, with an additional Power Stage at the end (for e-bike racers only)\, rounding up to a nice eight-stage race that’ll test both your battery and your bike’s. \nPrice: $140.00 (includes lift pass for Saturday practice and Sunday race*)\n*Includes 2 chairlift uplifts as part of transition/liaison stages for Sundays race. \nFour Stage / Short Course \nAn introduction to Enduro racing for some\, a gentle reminder of racing for others. The four-stage course will focus on good vibes balanced with just the right amount of challenge! Tackling Blue and Single Black trails will be the aim of the game\, letting you test your abilities with less pressure. \nCategories: \nU15 Men (Minimum age of 13 by 31st Dec 2026)\nU15 Women (Minimum age of 13 by 31st Dec 2026) \nU19 Men\nU19 Women \nOpen Men (19-39 Years)\nOpen Women (19-39 Years) \nMasters Men (40+ Years)\nMasters Women (40+ Years) \nE-Bike Open Men (13+ Years)\nE-Bike Open Women (13+ Years)\n*E-Bike racers will be able to tackle the four-stage race as is\, there are no additional stages for this group. \nPrice: $95.00 (includes lift pass for Saturday practice and Sunday race*)\n*Includes 1 chairlift uplift as part of transition/liaison stages for Sundays race. \n  \nHOW THE RACE WORKS \n\nCourse stages will be released one week before the race.\nAll stages will need to be raced in numerical order e.g. Stage 1 first\, Stage 7 last.\nAll riders must follow designated transition/liaison stages to reach race stages.\nGrab your race plate and timing chip from registration the day before the race (Saturday only).\nAll long course riders (7-stage) must be at the top of Stage 7 by the official cutoff time.\n\nEach stage is electronically timed. The transitions between stages are not. However\, you have to keep one eye on the clock as you transition\, otherwise you risk missing your final stage drop window. \nTransition stages will include some lung-busting uphill pedals mixed with scenic chairlift moments\, a perfect combo to experience the best of the Park and spin some yarns with mates. \nThere will be no aid station for either course\, riders will need to be self-sufficient from the event village base. Mechanic services will be available at the village. \nFurther race rules will be provided closer to race day. \n  \nHOW THE WEEKEND WORKS \nSaturday 10 October 2026: Official Practice \nRegistered riders will have the opportunity to practice the race stages and prepare for Sunday’s race. \nRiders must have their race plate on their bike to access the chairlift and trails for both practice and race day. Saturday practice will be marshalled. \nAll stages will be open on Saturday during park opening hours. Stages can be completed in any order on practice day only. \nSunday 11 October 2026: Race Day \nRace Day format will be advised closer to the time\, along with stages for each race. \nRiders should expect to be onsite from approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm. \nAN EVENT FOR ALMOST EVERYONE \nŌtautahi Enduro is suitable for riders over the age of 13 years as of 31st December 2026. DESCRIPTION:The race this year will be on Saturday\, August 22\, 2026\, at Herbert Forest MTB Tracks. \n  \nYou will have the option of racing either a 3 stage or 6 stage enduro.  Like last year\, the three stage will incorporate 3 blue runs\, and the 6 stage will include an additional 3 black runs. \nExcitingly\, there will be some new runs\, thanks to continued trail development! \n  \nE-bikes are welcome\, and there will be 3 shuttles operating all day. \n  \nToilets and water will be available onsite. \n  \nSchedule \n1015  Race briefing \n1100  Start \n1500  Finish \nAfterwards\, join us for a complementary BBQ and beverages\, where you can compare times and have a yarn. \n  \nPricing \nEarly Bird Entry until August 6 – $60 \nAugust 7 until August 19 – $75 \n  \nSo\, come along for a great day out and let’s see who gets the fastest time and earns bragging rights for Herbert Forest this year!
